Collection Development

Collection development is the constant process of managing all of a library's collections so they provide optimal support for the curriculum of the university. This includes purchases, donations, physical arrangement, evaluation, deselection, and much more.

You may participate in this process by suggesting a purchase or donating materials.

To Suggest a Purchase

CSUSB faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to speak to the appropriate liaison librarian about purchases in their discipline. List of liaison librarians. Liaison librarians can also assist with preparation of accreditation reports.

To suggest a specific purchase, please use the Book Purchase Request form.
