Pfau Library Computer Labs Map
The map above depicts the location of the computers on the first floor of the John M. Pfau Library.
The John M. Pfau Library has three computer labs (indicated by the red stars on the map) on the first floor of the library with two workstations designed specifically for individuals with disabilities. In addition, students can rent MacBook Pro laptops at the Circulation Desk, also known as the "Check Out" desk, on the first floor.
- The PL-111 Computer Lab is located inside the South entrance of the library, on the right side, just past the Cafe au Lib. This lab features 14 HP Compaq Elite 8300 computers running Window 7 Professional operating system and an ADA accessible workstation.
- Research Terminals in the Reference Area are located inside the south entrance to the left along the glass wall. This area features 41 HP Compaq Elite computers running Window 7 Professional operating system.
- The PL-1003 Computer Lab is located across from the second set of elevators farthest away from the Check Out desk. To reach this lab from the south entrance, enter the library on the first floor and go straight back to the reference desk. Turn left at the reference desk and and then left again at the first doorway. This lab features 20 HP Z210 computers running Window 7 Professional operating system and a scanner workstation.
- The Check Out desk is located just inside the north entrance of the library to the left. From the south entrance, enter the lirbary on the first floor and go straight through the library to just before the north entrance. The Check Out desk is on the right. The Check Out desk has 80 MacBook Pro laptops avaliable to rent that are dual booting into Windows 7 or Mac OS X. Learn more about the Laptop Lending Program before attempting to rent these laptops.
