Audio Visual Equipment Lending Program

Who can check out the equipment?

Current CSUSB students, faculty and staff.

What is required to check out the equipment?

A valid Coyote OneCard and a signed acknowledgement of responsibility for the equipment; we will provide a form.

Can the equipment leave the library?

Yes.

How long can I keep it?

CSUSB students 2 days
CSUSB faculty 3 days
CSUSB staff 3 days

Can I renew it?

Yes. You may renew it once (students 2 days, faculty and staff 3 days) either online via My Library Account, or in person at the LMMC.

How do I return the equipment?

Equipment must be returned to the Library Multimedia Center (PL5005) when it is open. Equipment is to be returned in undamaged condition accompanied by all parts, cables, cases, etc.

How much are the overdue fees?

$10 an hour, for a maximum of $480. After 48 hours, the equipment is considered lost. See the lost or damaged fees below.

  • $170 for VHF Wireless Lavalier Microphone System
  • $70 for Apple Wireless Keyboard
  • $4 for Griffin Stylus for Tablets

Can equipment be reserved in advance?

CSUSB faculty may reserve equipment. Contact the LMMC staff.

Does the LMMC provide batteries, memory cards, etc.?

Users need not supply their own batteries, as both camcorders have their own battery sources. Individuals using the Vixia Camcorder must supply their own SD, SDHC (SD High Capacity), or SDXC (SD eXtended Capacity) memory cards. Individuals using the Sony Camcorder must supply their own Memory Stick Duo, Memory Stick PRO Duo, Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo, or mini DV cassettes.

Does the LMMC provide training?

Not at the present time but we are exploring options for the future.
